For the past few days rumors and internet threads have been starting and flying out of control over the news that bodybuilder Craig Titus and fitness star Kelly Ryan have been sought after for allegedly being linked to a homicide in Las Vegas. Police found a smoldering Jaguar that was supposedly Kelly Ryan’s with a charred body in the trunk. After all the talking, police have finally released the statement below.

Well, as news of Olympia popularity fading was running rampant in the bodybuilding world, Weider and AMI decide to step up the game. With the Arnold Classic garnering a larger following and slowly becoming the contest of contests, AMI and the IFBB apparently decided it was time to do something about it.
What is the one thing that could possibly bring back the fans and get the athletes “pumped” to compete again. Money. Plain and simple.

Strength Legend Anthony Clark Passes Away!
Bench-press specialist Anthony Clark, dubbed “World’s Strongest Man” several times during his powerlifting career, died of a heart attack on Sunday, May 22, 2005. His funeral mass was held at the Gulf Meadows Church in Houston on Thursday, May 26, 2005. His burial took place at the Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas. Clark was only 38 years old.

Bodybuilding Loses Two Champions!
Within the past week, the bodybuilding community has suffered two big losses. Masters Olympia champ Don Youngblood and Mr. USA Charles Durr have both passed away due to heart related issues. Durr passed away on May 2nd while Don passed away on May 8th.
Both leave behind loving families and will both be greatly missed. MuscleMags condolences go out to both families. Look for issue 279 for more info.
