Tandem Workout - # 330

The universe, scientists say, is a collisionally evolved system. When two masses of the largest scales collide, strong disruptive gravitational forces take hold. Both masses are impelled to distort in shape, producing a great surge of matter that is hurled into unknown. Eventually, however, this matter will settle back into the form of two masses but will often look and function nothing like it did before.

You may be wondering how this parallels bodybuilding. Oddly enough, this is exactly what MuscleMag cameras captured during the recent convergence of Johnnie Jackson “The World’s Strongest Bodybuilder” and Joel Stubbs “The World’s Biggest Bodybuilder” for an arm-blasting workout. No matter what their pursuit — be it strength or size, the cause and effect are the same for both — Johnnie and Joel both course similar paths when it comes to battling with the iron: survival of the fittest. And this workout is no exception. Add up the poundage and as the math implies, these two are among the callous of the hardcore – they’d rather give their lives than be beaten by a dumbbell or barbell, or even each other.
